artwork sent to Digimax Design must be able to be run on a
pc platform.
To get your job underway you can email us your artwork. This
is normally followed up by sending the master disc with your
content. OR you can upload your artwork direct to our server, call us for details.
For ink jet, colour thermal print, and black text/logo printing, where requested a sample cd with your artwork printed on it will be sent
for approval prior to bulk printing.
For screen printing jobs a digital proof of the artwork can
be supplied on request.
The colours printed will vary depending on the printing process
used.
HINTS:
- Do
not show the unprintable area in the centre of the CD/DVD.
Our printing software automatically puts this in place.
The most common problem we encounter relates to artwork
where the centre hub is not in correct ratio to the outer
diameter.
- Graphics to be printed on
cd or dvd surface should be at least 300 dpi.

- Digital Labels- print area:Outside diameter 118mm inner
diameter 41mm
Artwork needs to have a background bleed of 3mm ie 121mm/38mm
- Black thermal printing - printable area 116mm/41mm. Graphics
need to be 300dpi. Send your layout, text, logos and fonts
we will typeset and layout your label at no extra cost.
- Colour Thermal print - printable area is 116/41mm.
- Ink jet printing - printable area 118/41mm. This can be
adjusted to give full coverage of the cd/dvd depending on
the disc.
Hint: Ensure that all wanted
detail lies within the dimensions specified above.
